No, not right now. Kling's membership page lists Kling 4.0 Flash only on the Ultra plan as "Annual Early Access"; the free Basic plan does not include it. Ultra Yearly is listed at US$1,429.99 per year. Kling has not said whether free users will get Kling 4.0 after the full release, or how many credits a Kling 4.0 video will cost.
What is Kling 4.0 Flash?
It is the early-access model in the Kling 4.0 lineup, live since September 28, 2026 for Ultra Yearly subscribers. Kling has not published its full specs, so do not assume the full Kling 4.0 numbers (30 seconds, 4K) apply to Flash. Claims such as "720p" or "3–20 seconds" are not officially confirmed.
Does Kling 4.0 have an API?
Not publicly yet. As of our last check we found no official Kling 4.0 API documentation or pricing. Some third-party sites say API access will come in October, but we have not found a Kling source for that.
Can Kling 4.0 generate 4K video?
Kling says Kling 4.0 supports output up to 4K with 10-bit HDR. 4K itself is not new: Kling added native 4K to the 3.0 series in April 2026. Kling has not said whether 4K is available in Kling 4.0 Flash or on every plan.
How is Kling 4.0 different from Kling 3.0?
Based on Kling's published specs, the main upgrades are longer clips (up to 30 seconds vs 15), 10-bit HDR, up to 10 keyframes instead of start and end frames, and up to 15 multi-modal references. See the comparison table. We have not tested either side by side yet.
Can I use Kling 4.0 on mobile?
Not announced. Kling has not said whether Kling 4.0 Flash is available in its mobile apps. We will update this answer when it does.
